Fresh Flower Substitutions
We are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers, it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We make every effort to maintain the look and feel of the arrangement by considering overall shape, size, style, and color combinations.
In single-variety arrangements, the variety will take precedence over color. For example, if an order is for yellow daisies, we may substitute another color of daisies rather than a different yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other, as well as peach roses and pink roses. Purple and pink orchids may be substituted for white orchids and vice versa.
Fresh Flower Refund & Returns (Perishable Goods)
Fresh flowers, plants, and fruit baskets are perishable goods and all sales are final (non-returnable and non-refundable).
If there is a quality issue with your delivery, please contact us within 24 hours so we may review the situation and make it right. Resolution may include replacement or store credit, as appropriate. We take great pride in the integrity and quality of our work at Spedale’s Florist and want you to enjoy our arrangements as much as we do.
Non-Perishable Gift Items Refund & Returns
If you are not satisfied with a non-perishable gift item for any reason, you may return it to our shop for an exchange of equal value or a refund within 60 days of the purchase date on your receipt. Gift items must be in original packaging and in new condition.
Balloons
Some hospitals do not allow latex balloons with an arrangement. Mylar balloons may be substituted for latex balloons when required by facility policy.
Plants
For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type but may substitute another color if necessary. Containers will be as close as possible.
Gift Baskets
Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of equal or greater value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.
Substitutions for Special Occasions
Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries on specific dates, we may substitute flowers of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery if requested flowers are unavailable and we are unable to reach you using the contact information provided.
