What days and hours are you open?

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  Saturdays we are open 8:00am to Noon.

Do you deliver flower arrangements?

Yes, we deliver flower arrangements, sympathy arrangements, and plants. We deliver to Lafayette, Louisiana and the surrounding area. These areas include Broussard, Youngsville, Scott, Milton, and Carencro. 

How do I contact you to order flowers?

What product types are available?

We offer fresh flower arrangements custom made for each order. We also offer a wide selection of green plants, gourmet baskets, balloons, silk flowers and arrangements, chocolate candy, plush animals, crystal vases, and a wide assortment of baby plush and containers.

Is in-store pick up available for orders purchased online? 

Yes, you can order online and choose pickup for your option. We also offer curbside pickup.

Can I order today and have it delivered today?

We offer same day delivery for all orders placed prior to Noon on Monday through Friday and by 10am on Saturdays. There are some exceptions to this depending on Holiday Times and other various reasons. We will post on our website header if we have cut off same day delivery before Noon. 

How are shipping and delivery charges determined? 

Our delivery charges are determined by the area we are delivering to. The normal deliver charge is between $11.00 and $14.00. Special Events may have a delivery surcharge that is calculated by time and number of employee's needed for the delivery. Free quotes are available on customer delivery.

Can I pick a delivery time?

While we do not offer an option for delivery appointments, we do try our best to honor any delivery requests that you have.  We normally ask for a two hour window. During Holiday times we cannot guarantee any delivery times. 

Will my flowers be left if no one is home?

We will leave a delivery if no one is home by request. However, we will use our best judgement depending on the weather conditions and if we feel the flowers will be left in a safe area. 

Is the arrangement in the photo exactly what will be delivered?

This is a very good question, we make every attempt to make the arrangement you ordered exactly like the photo on the website. However, due to availability, sometimes we do have to make reasonable substitutions. You have the option to request no substitutions at order entry and we will contact you if we need to inform you if there is an issue. 

Can I make a change to my order?

You can make a change to your order up to one day prior to the requested delivery date. 

Can I send my flower order anonynous, with no signature? 

It is our policy that we will not send flowers without a signature.  It is our experience that the recipient of flowers, without a signature of who sent them,  sometimes may go through undue stress.  We will always provide the name of the sender. 

What flowers do you usually have in stock everyday? 

We offer a wide selection of flowers everyday. We offer Roses, Hydrangea, Stock, Snapdragons, Sunflowers, Tulips (when in season), Delphinium, Alstromeria, Carnations, Mini Carnations, Spray Roses, Gerbera, Glads, Poms, Mums and many various filler flowers and asst greens. 

Will you contact the recipient?

We will contact the recipient if they live in an apartment, are a student at the University, or if the delivery is on the outer boundaries of our delivery area.  We may also contact the recipient if we need additional information about the delivery address.  Every ticket is unique, so we reserve the right to contact the recipient if we feel it is necessary. 

Can you deliver at a specific time to a funeral?

We make every effort to have all funeral floral designs and plants delivered before the visitation begins.  There are times that we might deliver during the visitation, especially if the visitation starts prior to our delivery times. For Family Pieces such as the Casket Piece, we will have it delivered prior to the beginning of the service. 

Is there an offer code or coupon code I can use for online purchases?

There are times that we may offer a discount on delivery or a code to save money on an order. We clearly post these on our website when applicable or if you are signed up for email updates, the code will be included in the email if we have a special code.  It is our company policy to offer the best and highest quality floral designs that we can at a fair price. Therefore, we do not offer sales very often or at all.  We try to keep our prices as low as we can each and every day.

Do you donate flowers for non profit events? 

While we are proud supporters of our community, we do not offer donations of floral arrangements.  If you complete the donation request form located at we will see if we can work with you on the pricing.  We do not donate to individuals or individual causes. Can I order my flowers wholesale? 

Any florist or individual that has a Louisiana State Florist License and a Louisiana Department of Revenue resellers certificate qualifies for wholesale pricing of fresh flowers. It is suggested that you place your order a minimum of 10 days prior to needing them. 

I don't have a florist license, can I order bulk flowers? 

Yes, any customer can order bulk flowers at a discounted rate plus sales tax. Please place your orders a minimum of two weeks prior to the event. All bulk flower orders must be paid in full at time of order and cannot be cancelled or refunded. 

I see that Spedale's Florist uses Bard, What is Bard?  

Bard is a large language model, also known as a conversational AI or chatbot trained to be informative and comprehensive. Bard is trained on a massive amount of text data and is able to communicate and generate human-like text in response to a wide range of prompts and questions. For example, It can provide summaries of factual topics or create stories.

Spedale's Florist uses Bard to generate and enhance content for our blog. This allows us to create high-quality content quickly and efficiently, while still maintaining the human touch. We believe that this is the best way to provide our customers with the information they need about flowers and floristry.
